The Out Of Office Wars

It began when Finance set an out-of-office and Procurement set one back. Neither is monitoring the mailbox. Both regret any inconvenience. The thread now runs to 812 messages and IT has described it, on the record, as 'not technically a fault'.

Fourteen hundred emails. Of those, three mattered. Of those three, two were resolved by someone else on day nine. The third was a question about where the good stapler had gone, asked eleven days ago and asked again this morning.
